Robby focuses on the clients' overall financial health to establish a personal roadmap to retirement. He works with each client to customize an individual financial plan consisting of; setting financial goals and benchmarks, a working budget, and multiple sources of retirement income. He also holds free small group classes on budget, finance, and investing.
He has over 20 years of public service with the Charleston Fire Department where he holds the rank of Assistant Fire Chief. He has over 10 years of experience instructing first responders through the SCFA, NFA, NIMS, IAFF, ISFSI, NIST, and NFFF. He uses his experience as an instructor to teach his clients strategies or financial success. He also provides mental health support to local first responders as a member of the Charleston Fire Department Peer Support Team. He holds a Bachelor's of Science degree, has completed the Securities Industry Essentials, Series 63, and Series 6 exams.
Personal
He is a Charleston native and has been married for 28 years to his wife Angie. He has two sons, Bobby who resides in Florida, and Wyatt who is a firefighter with the City of Charleston. He and his wife are members of James Island Christian Church. When not working he enjoys kayaking, camping, and hiking.
